About Shenandoah Forum
Shenandoah Forum is a non-profit Virginia corporation granted tax-exempt status by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service in 2008. Until 2006, the Forum had not had any significant expenses.  Funds for the modest costs associated with the community forums held in 2005 were donated by steering committee members and local residents.

In 2006, the Forum was the recipient of a $10,000 flow-through grant to the Shenandoah Community Foundation from the Agua Fund to enable the Forum to strengthen its existing programs and to begin to publicize its efforts in order to bring more voices into the community conversation that the Forum seeks to encourage.

Shenandoah Forum currently has a restricted fund with the Shenandoah Community Foundation. It is our intent to use income from this fund to establish an endowment fund to create a stable and permanent source of income for the Forum.

The Forum will continue to expand its outreach and to encourage community members and others to contribute to our efforts. Contact us to learn how you can support us.
Shenandoah Forum depends on charitable donations to cover the cost of our public education and outreach programs. Your generous gift will strengthen the Forum's efforts to retain Shenandoah County's rural character, traditional towns and villages, historic places and agricultural economy.
