ABOUT SHENANDOAH COUNTY

Shenandoah County is nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  Settled in the early 1700s, the county is today a primarily rural, agricultural landscape dotted with historic Main Street towns and villages.  It is bordered by the Allegheny and Massanutten mountain ranges and the George Washington National Forest.
